Jeffrey Puukka
Artistic Director

Jeffrey Puukka is a Gresham area native. He began Discovery Theatre Lab in 2001. Favorite productions for Discovery include Dracula, Antigone, and Phaedra. Apart from working as Artistic Director for Discovery Theatre Lab, Jeffrey is also an acting coach who loves to work with brand new, beginning actors. He has conducted seminars and work-outs for actors through out the state of Oregon, and has worked with Oral Interpretation students at Sam Barlow and Centennial high schools.

Media Director

Stephen is a Portland-area native, and multi-talented artist and graphic designer. His first involvement with DISCOVERY was in the fall of 2006, working on the production of Romeo & Juliet as a photographer and score composer. Now, as the lab’s Media Director, he supports the lab in both administrative and creative capacities, hoping to help further the cause of DISCOVERY’s innovative theatre in the Gresham community. As an independent artist, he works in photography, writing, music, and paintings, in addition to working as a full-time freelance graphic designer for corporate clients across the US.
